Job summary

Texas Association of School Boards seeks a School Professional Liability Adjuster to manage complex School Professional Liability and General Liability matters involving Texas public education entities.

You will work with school district leadership, defense counsel, and claims leadership to investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while delivering exceptional service to TASB members throughout the claims process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; professional designation preferred.
• Texas adjuster license or ability to obtain within allowed period.
• Experience with public entity or governmental liability claims preferred.
• Strong knowledge of liability claim practices and litigation defense strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex school professional liability and general liability claims from initial notice to resolution.
• Coordinate with defense counsel on litigation strategies and settlements.
• Communicate claim developments with school district leadership and stakeholders.
• Balance technical claim handling with exceptional service to TASB members.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes.
