Job summary

Accountants One is engaged by a long-standing client to recruit a CFO for a publicly traded insurance holding company. The CFO will lead financial strategy, statutory oversight, and public-company reporting across a multi-subsidiary platform.

The ideal candidate is a senior finance executive with regulated insurance experience, board-level communication, CPA, and familiarity with LDTI (ASU 2018-12). The role reports to the CEO and interfaces with the Board, regulators, and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Senior finance executive with insurance carrier experience.
• Deep knowledge of statutory accounting and regulatory capital.
• Public-company reporting and governance background.
• Experience with LDTI (ASU 2018-12) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial operations across multiple insurance subsidiaries.
• Oversee statutory reporting and RBC compliance.
• Lead GAAP and statutory alignment across units.
• Communicate LDTI impacts to Board and Audit Committee.
• Partner with external auditors on LDTI processes.
