Authorities Budget Office (ABO) seeks a Public Information Specialist 2 to serve as the communications officer and official spokesperson. The role plans, coordinates, and oversees ABO's public information program, managing media relations, press materials, and the agency's public communications.

The position includes supervising ABO websites, producing information for the public and officials, and coordinating outreach with authorities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in media, public relations, communications, journalism, broadcasting, or related fields; degree substitutions apply if higher degrees are held.

Responsabilités

• Oversee ABO's public information program and act as official spokesperson.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee media relations and information dissemination to public officials and the press.
• Prepare and edit press releases, news articles, and opinion pieces; coordinate distribution of materials.
• Manage ABO's social media accounts (X, Instagram, LinkedIn) and draft content.
• Develop, film, and edit videos to communicate ABO work to the public and stakeholders.
• Review and edit ABO reports and public information publications.
• Prepare speeches for ABO executives and administrators when needed.
• Coordinate communications with public authorities and contacts; assist with FOIL policies.
