This role requires strong customer relationship management and advocacy for Canonical's technical assets. Public Cloud Project Managers lead key Tier 1 Enterprise Public Cloud accounts, collaborating across engineering and executive levels. You will manage multiple projects, shape Statements of Work (SoW), and ensure project goals are met. International travel may be required, with specifics depending on project needs.

Location: This role is remote in the Americas region.

Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, budget, and resources.
2. Identifying and mitigating technical and project risks.
3. Maintaining strong customer focus and stakeholder engagement.
4. Conducting regular status meetings and reviews.
5. Managing third-party deliverables and cross-organizational requests.
6. Advocating for Canonical's technologies to customers.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT Cloud, software development, or project management roles.
• Deep understanding of Linux, open source, and cloud technologies.
• Software engineering experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience leading remote, cross-cultural teams.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent).
• Agile/Scrum certification (preferred).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
