We are hiring a Public Cloud Project Manager. This role involves customer relationship management and advocacy for Canonical's technical assets. Responsibilities include:

1. Leading account management for key Tier 1 Enterprise Public Cloud accounts.
2. Collaborating with teams from Software Engineering to Senior Executives.
3. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, shaping Statements of Work, and ensuring project goals are met.
4. Traveling internationally as required.

Location: Remote in the Americas region.

Key duties:

1. Delivering projects within schedule, scope, and budget.
2. Identifying and mitigating risks.
3. Maintaining strong customer focus and stakeholder engagement.
4. Conducting regular status meetings and reviews.
5. Managing third-party deliverables and cross-organizational requests.
6. Advocating Canonical technologies to customers.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Proven experience in IT Cloud, project management, or related roles.
• Deep understanding of Linux, open source, and public cloud.
• Software engineering background.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience leading remote, cross-cultural teams.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Bachelor’s in STEM, PMP, and Scrum Master certifications preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
