This foundation enables the business to deploy critical workloads, from building a cloud base High Performance Compute (HPC) platform to run huge risk calculations, enabling Citi to leverage GenAI at scale, all the way to enabling payment solutions, this team is at the forefront of innovation.Role Description: The role of Public Cloud Network – Security Engineer will be instrumental in ensuring Citi public cloud resources deployed in GCP and AWS are secured using industry standard tools and best practices. You will be responsible for designing, certifying, deploying and managing the security network infrastructure resources within GCP and AWS that secure all traffic flows between resource in the cloud and on-premises. The role requires an engineer with expert technical skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and partners throughout the full resource provisioning life cycle, from inception and design, to deployment, operational management and iterative refinement.You will have a voice within the team to influence strategic decisions, contribute to the creation of roadmaps and engage with key technology and business stakeholders.The Network Infrastructure Team is based in multiple locations across the globe and comprises of Architects, Cloud Engineers and Security Engineers. What you’ll do:Technical Expertise: design and build highly resilient and scalable security solutions that support the business requirements as part of the organisations public cloud strategy.Engineering Excellence: follow engineering best practices and industry standards using modern tooling that enables CI/CD and favours automation, auditability, automated testing, infrastructure and policy as code.Collaborative Development: work with a talented team of cloud engineers across the wider Public Cloud team who are responsible for Network, Project / Account Provisioning, Platform, Data, Pipelines, and Operations.
