Job summary

You will interview applicants, explain program regulations, and maintain electronic case files. Training is provided; after nine months, telework may be possible based on performance and needs.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of customer service, interviewing, investigating, or determining eligibility.
• Ability to attend an 8-12 week mandatory training course.
• Experience with government assistance programs and eligibility determinations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interview applicants to obtain and verify information for eligibility.
• Determine program eligibility in accordance with regulations.
• Process data and enter information into a computerized eligibility system.
• Advise clients of deadlines and required actions.
• Maintain electronic caseloads and document communications.
