Job summary

Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida, Inc. (CCLA) seeks two attorneys for our Public Benefits Unit to advocate for low-income individuals across SSDI/SSI, reemployment, and SNAP/TANF matters.

The role includes client interviews, hearings, and supervision of interns in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Qualifications

• JD required with Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Creole preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of case work from intake to hearings and appeals.
• Supervise interns and paralegals within the unit.
• Represent clients in SSDI/SSI, reemployment assistance, SNAP/TANF, and healthcare-related cases.
• Communicate with clients and agencies by in person, phone, and email.
• Maintain case records, timekeeping, and meet deadlines.
