Job summary

Caesars Entertainment Corp in Atlantic City seeks a Public Areas Housekeeper to uphold the highest cleanliness standards in all casino public spaces. This role requires vigilance, physical stamina, and the ability to work around casino operations while maintaining safety and security protocols.

The position pays $22.55 per hour. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize restrooms, elevators, floors, and seating areas; assist with scaffold handling; and report any maintenance needs to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and write English sufficiently to perform job.
• Previous experience within public areas cleaning preferred.

• Pans/brooms and cleans carpets, polishes furniture, marble, glass, brass, tile, etc.
• Responsible for picking up and breaking down scaffolding.
• Services assigned areas daily, cleaning of rest rooms, ash/trash urns and elevators.
• Completely clean entire Casino floor including, vacuuming gaming tables during "down time".
• Must have Security escort when accessing restricted areas.
• Responsible for trash removal from all public and back of the house areas.
• Returns all housekeeping equipment to the stockroom at end of shift.
• Reports emergency repairs to Supervisor immediately and strictly adheres to key control policies.
• Completes special assignments for the Supervisor-Public Areas and above as requested.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to walk, stand for long periods of time, up to eight hours.
• Must be mobile and able to travel throughout the Casino.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Must be able to use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch
• Must be able to work in extreme cold and/or heat, dusty, noisy, wet and/or humid environment
• This position may be exposed to a smoke-filled and loud noise level environment.
