Job summary

The Luskin Conference Center at UCLA is seeking a detail-oriented Houseperson to join our housekeeping team. You will help maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest floors and public areas, working closely with Guest Room Attendants, Linen Room Attendants, and supervisors to ensure high-quality service.

Responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations and reflecting UCLA Hospitality's commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fundamental custodial tasks and procedures.
• Knowledge of proper use of chemical materials and cleaning techniques.
• Ability to comply with safety standards and procedures for both personal and public safety.
• Knowledge of carpet and hard floor care techniques.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and methods.
• Ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful and culturally responsive manner.
• Ability to sufficiently communicate in written and verbal English to receive work assignments and share information with supervisors and colleagues.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a part of a team.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
