Job summary

S&L Hospitality is seeking a Houseperson/Public Area Cleaner to maintain the hotel’s public areas, corridors, service areas and linen closets with a focus on cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates have cleaning experience, can work independently, and are flexible to evenings, weekends, and holidays; the role includes tasks per the Housekeeping Manager and assisting guests and staff as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest hallways, public areas, service areas and linen closets
• Empty trash and linen bags
• Deliver linen to laundry or via service elevator
• Remove trash to dumpster and vacuum hallways and rooms as needed
• Move supplies and assist with turning mattresses
• Stock linen closets and keep public areas clean
• Clean elevators, lights, and fire doors
• Assist with luggage handling and check safety policies
