Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Public Area Attendant to join our team. You will maintain cleanliness of all hotel public areas and contribute to a positive guest experience within a service-focused environment.

The role supports a collaborative team, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package including Daily Pay, telemedicine, health options, 401k, PTO, and more. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education.
• At least 1 year in housekeeping.
• Outgoing personality and customer service focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc., to meet quality standards.
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors.
• Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash.
• Maintains efficient communication on two-way radio to prioritize tasks.
• Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to stay clean and presentable.
• Cleans and maintains public restrooms and ensures they remain neat; checks hourly.
• Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays.
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Performs various other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors
• Empties carts of soiled linen and disposes trash
• Maintains efficient communication on two-way radio to ensure that tasks are prioritized.
• Maintains lobby, elevators, stairways, hallways, and Front Desk area to assure they are clean, neat and free of all rubbish and debris.
• Cleans and maintains public restrooms in a neat and orderly fashion to provide fresh and attractive facilities for guests. Restrooms must also be checked on once an hour to assure they remain neat and clean.
• Removes spots, insects and debris, polishes fixtures and cleans ashtrays
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in Housekeeping role
