Job summary

Gold Key PHR is seeking a Public Area Attendant to clean guest units and public areas to the highest standards, following established safety procedures and hotel standards.

You will report issues, restock supplies, and maintain restrooms and public spaces with attention to detail, pace, and guest satisfaction.

Experience in cleaning preferred; ability to communicate in English with guests and staff, and physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management.
• Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness.
• Ability to exert physical effort in using cleaning equipment.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and follow-up on assignments.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas following safety & security procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of public area furniture and fixtures; inspect for tears, stains.
• Dust pictures, frames, and mirrors; clean baseboards, doors & frames.
• Use designated products to clean surfaces; report damage or safety issues.
• Restock supplies and clean restrooms and common areas to par levels.
• Receive and return keys and devices with security at shift start/end.
• Report guest concerns to management and turn in items left in public areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
