Seneca Gaming Corporation in Buffalo, NY seeks a part-time Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness across casino public areas and front/back of house. Duties include cleaning floors, bathrooms, gaming devices, ashtrays, and restocking supplies while ensuring a friendly, professional interaction with patrons and staff.

Hours are on a 24-hour schedule with starting pay of $16.00 per hour, compensation negotiable based on experience. Prior housekeeping or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• High school diploma or its equivalency preferred.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Familiar with proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Previous housekeeping experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the in-house facilities.
• Empty and provide clean ashtrays in the casino on a regular basis.
• Clean, wash and disinfect floors, sinks and bathrooms; inspect bathrooms for cleanliness.
• Wipe and clean all gaming devices regularly.
• Stock and attend to cleaning needs of assigned casino areas.
• Use cleaning agents and follow Seneca Gaming policies.
• Provide pleasant, professional customer service to patrons and staff.

All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1. Maintain the cleanliness of the in-house facilities. 2. Empty and provide clean ashtrays in the casino on a regular basis. 3. Clean, wash and disinfect all floors, sinks and commodes of bathrooms and conduct routine inspection of bathrooms to ensure consistent cleanliness. 4. Wipe and clean all gaming devices on a regular basis. 5. Discard soiled cups, etc., throughout casino on a regular basis. 6. Responsible for the attending to the cleaning and stocking needs of assigned areas of the casino. 7. Must work with various cleaning agents. 8. Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security including the Seneca Gaming Corporation Acceptable Use Policy. Understand and comply with all information security policies and procedures at all times. 9. Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times. Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff. 10. Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies. 11. Must complete all required SGC Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment. 12. Attend all necessary meetings. 13.
