Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain a clean and inviting public space for guests in our hotel in Temple, TX. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and assist guests with courtesy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include cleaning public washrooms, dusting surfaces, maintaining windows and doors, and supporting fellow staff to ensure a seamless guest experience. Physical stamina is required for lifting and long shifts.

Competenze

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalence.
• Experience: Prior experience in a similar role. Hotel experience preferred.
• Additional: Flexible work hours may be required and duties vary by business needs.

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and attractive public area appearance while providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests.

Essential Functions

• Maintains supply levels in the public areas, toilet paper, and Kleenex.
• Maintains and cleans all public washrooms, checking twice each hour.
• Makes routine checks of all public areas to ensure cleanliness. Empties ash urns.
• Dust all tables, lamps, and ledges in all public areas and corridors.
• Maintains the cleanliness of all windows, glass, and doors in public areas.
• Checks guest elevators, clean carpets, and polishes metals as necessary. Maintains elevator tracks.
• Performs cleaning tasks in public areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, moping, and collecting garbage.
• Assists guests and other staff members as needed.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalence

Experience: Prior experience in a similar role. Hotel experience preferred.

Additional: Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs. Must be able to work at both the Aloft and Fairfield Inn & Suites in Downtown Savannah, GA.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

Flexible and long hours sometimes required

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors, and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
