The State of Illinois is seeking a Public Aid Eligibility Assistant housed in the Division of Family and Community Services. The role involves screening and registering applications, handling confidential information, translating procedures into Spanish, and assisting the public at the headquarters office in Chicago.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, one year of clerical experience in DHS or equivalent, and fluency in Spanish.

  • Requires ability to speak, read and write Spanish at a colloquial skill level.
