Rothe Development Inc. is seeking a Public Affairs Writer III to support NASA eMITS and OCIO/OCOMM with clear, engaging storytelling across platforms at NASA HQ, including event coverage and multimedia content.

The role focuses on translating complex technical topics into plain language, producing internal and external communications, and coordinating with cross-center teams to ensure timely, accurate messaging under AP and NASA standards.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of overall experience.
• Experience editing and converting technical content to plain language.
• Ability to develop executive presentations using PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Write clear, accessible stories, captions, scripts, and social content for NASA platforms.
• Research topics, interview subject-matter experts, and organize material following AP and NASA guidelines.
• Support launch coverage and collaborate with teams to refine content for accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop internal communications: announcements, leadership messages, newsletters, intranet content.
• Create and execute social media content across platforms and plan calendars.
• Coordinate with multimedia teams to blend writing with visuals in mission-focused content.
• Ensure messaging consistency across internal, external, social, and digital channels.
• Monitor engagement to inform content opportunities and effectiveness.
