Job summary

Sawdey Solution Services, Inc. is seeking a Public Affairs Specialist to provide strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and outreach support for the DCMA Blue List Program.

Role includes creating written, visual, digital, and multimedia content and supporting events and leadership communications. The position emphasizes collaboration with Government personnel, industry partners, and other stakeholders, with hybrid on-site work at Fort Lee, VA, or San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs or related field or minimum of five years of verifiable public affairs experience.
• Experience planning and coordinating conferences, industry days, workshops, or similar events.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop briefing materials, talking points, and professional communications.

Responsibilities

• Support Government public affairs, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and industry outreach activities.
• Develop outreach materials, digital communications, and industry engagement products.
• Develop professional multimedia products, including photography, videography, graphic design, presentations, and digital content.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and supporting industry days, conferences, and public engagements.
• Prepare talking points, speeches, briefing materials, and presentations for Government leadership.
• Monitor and analyze communications metrics and recommend improvements.
