Job summary

Exelon is seeking two External Affairs Manager positions to bolster relationships with officials and communities in Baltimore City and surrounding counties. You will develop and execute outreach plans, represent the company in forums, and help shape strategic direction.

The role requires strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, with a track record in public policy, regulatory affairs, or community engagement. Extended hours during emergencies may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 9-12 years of relevant experience in related field.
• Experience in external affairs, government relations, or public policy.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex schedules.
• Willingness to work extended hours during storms or emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with municipal, county and state officials and organizations.
• Provide input to leadership to shape strategic direction and execute community outreach plans.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction and company financials.
• Participate in economic development and community organizations to raise company visibility.
• Coordinate with Large Customer Services for service and revenue needs.
