Qualifications

• Ph.D. in public administration, public policy, political science or closely related field.
• Demonstrated potential for effective teaching of graduate‑level public administration courses.
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in research, scholarly, and creative activities.
• Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate public administration courses in a NASPAA‑accredited MPA program.
• Contribute to faculty shared governance of the program and to accreditation activities.
• Engage in high‑quality research that leads to conference participation and peer‑reviewed publications.
• Provide service to the department, college, university, and community.
• Mode of instruction may include in‑person, hybrid, online, and any combination thereof.
