Job summary

Wouch Maloney CPAs in Horsham, PA invites an accounting-focused student to a summer internship (June 2027 – August 2027) at our headquarters. You’ll gain exposure to tax, audit and advisory work while working at least 15 hours per week in a flexible, part-time schedule.

You will assist with tax return preparation, support audit fieldwork, perform account reconciliations, conduct technical research and draft summaries. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accounting degree with coursework.
• Currently a university junior or senior.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential in all tasks.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities are required.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed.
• Tax coursework completed or in progress is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tax return preparation and workpapers (individual, corporate, partnership).
• Support audit fieldwork: testing, confirmations, tie-outs, and documentation.
• Perform account reconciliations and basic analytics.
• Conduct technical research and draft clear summaries.
• Collaborate with teams and communicate with clients professionally.
