Cross Company in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Power Tool Repair Technician to maintain and repair fastening tooling in our plant. The role involves electrical/mechanical diagnostics, calibration, and preventative maintenance to keep production lines running smoothly.
The ideal candidate has an A.A.S. in a technical field or related experience, strong mechanical and electronic skills, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. You’ll join a hands-on, results-driven team.

The goal of the Power Tool Repair Technician is to provide the repair of all fastening tooling in the Plant; assembly process to include but not limited to DC Electric, pulse, air and battery tools. Candidates should possess the skills to implement improvements and preventative measures within our scope of operation. Candidates with experience in power tool repair, maintenance and strong quality systems are preferred. The best candidates are previous Quality Technicians, Calibration Technicians, and/or Hands-On Maintenance Technicians in complex process settings.
