Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required.
• Virginia State Board of Pharmacy licensure required.
• Clean criminal record with regard to drug/pharmacy-related convictions is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparation, dispensing, record keeping, and transporting of medications.
• Communicate effectively with all staff members and other health care practitioners.
• Identify equipment or operational problems and report them to a pharmacist or pharmacy manager.
• Interact with patients across age groups and support patient care across transitions.
