Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an entry-level Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, processing prescriptions and supporting patient care in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will engage customers, handle pharmacy systems, and contribute to inventory management while upholding Walgreens policies and quality standards. Prior retail experience and strong math skills are preferred, and PTCB certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
• PTCB certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Good math and computer skills; familiarity with store inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision with dispensing and processing prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and support cashiers.
• Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and follow company policy on loss prevention.
• Provide a distinctive customer experience and greet customers to offer help and resolve issues.
• Support with clinical services coordination and coordination with healthcare providers.
