Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, processing prescriptions and delivering a friendly, efficient customer experience in our store. You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, support inventory, and help with cash register operations while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Strong communication, math skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends are valued, and PTCB certification is preferred

Qualifications

Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
Prefer good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under direct supervision and in accordance with company policies.
Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and obtain patient and drug information; coach technicians if certified.
Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience and engage customers and patients to resolve issues.
