Job summary

Walgreens is seeking to fill a position in its pharmacy team in Weslaco, TX. Under the supervision of the pharmacist, you will assist with dispensing and pharmacy duties and help process prescriptions using pharmacy systems.

You will greet customers, address questions, support inventory and cash register tasks, and help maintain a safe, compliant pharmacy operation. Training and certification progress are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control preferred.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision with dispensing and pharmacy duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Support inventory management and cash register operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers.
