Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy technician assistant in a store setting. Under supervision, you will help the pharmacist with dispensing and safety checks, and use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and obtain patient information.

You will also assist with inventory management and cash handling while delivering friendly, accurate service to customers. The role requires English fluency, flexibility to work evenings/weekends, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work evenings and weekend hours.
• Six months of retail experience is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.
• PTCB certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong math skills and basic computer literacy are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and safety checks.
• Operate pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and obtain patient data.
• Assist with inventory management and cash handling duties.
• Deliver excellent customer service and engage with customers.
• Support training and development tasks as needed.
