Job summary

Walgreens Co. seeks a pharmacy-support role to assist the pharmacist under supervision, handling patient and drug information and processing prescriptions. You will contribute to a distinctive customer experience and support pharmacy operations under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager.

Eligible candidates should have or pursue PTCB certification, strong math and computer skills, and be comfortable with retail pharmacy tasks and flexible scheduling including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy duties and comply with policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist pharmacists and technicians, coach as applicable, and handle register operations.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Maintain accuracy in prescription filling, including counting and labeling.
