Job summary

IDR, Inc. is seeking a PTC Windchill Developer for a remote role with up to 50% travel. You will support Windchill upgrades, develop Java-based customizations, configurations, and data migrations, including CAD data.

You will also implement PLM interfaces with SAP S/4 and Apriso MES, and handle Windchill administration across environments. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of Windchill experience, with hands-on implementation success and the ability to work across development, QA, and production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Windchill development and data migration experience.
• Experience with Windchill 13.x/14.x configuration, workflows, change management, and BOMs.
• Proven track record in 3+ end-to-end Windchill implementations and data migrations.
• Ability to support Windchill technical environments across development, QA, and production.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based Windchill customizations and configure Windchill environments.
• Support Windchill upgrades and deployments (e.g., MPMLink, Process Plans).
• Lead data migration activities including CAD data (PTC Creo).
• Build PLM interfaces with SAP S/4, Apriso MES, and manage part library integrations.
• Perform Windchill system administration and upgrade-related tasks.

IDR is seeking a PTC Windchill Developer to join one of our top clients in a remote role with up to 50% required travel. This role involves supporting Java-based customization, configuration, integration, data migration, upgrades, and administration of Windchill environments in a dynamic and innovative industry. The position offers the chance to work on complex PLM solutions within a collaborative team environment.

Position Overview for the PTC Windchill Developer:

• Support Windchill 14/2027 upgrade efforts, including deployment of MPMLink and Process Plans.
• Develop Java-based customizations and configure PTC Windchill environments.
• Support Windchill implementations and data migrations, including PTC Creo CAD data.
• Develop PLM interfaces with SAP S/4, Apriso MES, and manage enterprise-level part library integrations.
• Perform Windchill system administration tasks, including module installation and upgrade activities.

Requirements for the PTC Windchill Developer:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with PTC Windchill development, configuration, and data migration.
• Experience with Windchill 13.x / 14.x configuration: workflows, change management, Process Plans, BOMs.
• Proven success in 3+ end-to-end Windchill implementation and data migration projects.
• Ability to support technical environment activities across development, QA, and production systems.
