Job summary

Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant 2 (PTA2) to join a busy therapy team. You will assist licensed therapists in delivering care designed to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.

Responsibilities include selecting appropriate exercises and equipment, documenting patient responses, and supporting mentoring of students and new staff.

A California PTA license or eligibility and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or HSE or IEP certificate.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA or Physical Therapy degree program.
• License required; may be eligible with timely licensure within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Licensed Physical Therapist in delivering care to restore function and relieve pain.
• Select therapeutic exercises and equipment appropriate for treatment.
• Assess and document patient responses and progress; adjust plan as needed.
• Mentor and train new staff or students as assigned.
