Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Texas. You will work under PT supervision to help patients improve mobility and daily living skills using therapeutic modalities, with a focus on home-based care.

Qualified candidates are licensed PTAs in Texas with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; you will drive to patient homes and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently licensed PTA in the state of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must have dependable transportation, kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive automobile in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• PTA works under the direction of a Physical Therapist and treats patients with physical impairments using physical modalities.
• Aims to improve mobility and function, promote independent self-care, and enhance daily living skills for patients.
