Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Sun City Center, FL to support patient care in long-term facilities and clinics. The PTA will implement treatment plans, assist therapists, and educate patients, while documenting progress in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or licensure eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress; educate patients and families on protocols and self-care.
• Document treatments accurately in compliance with facility policies and standards.
• Collaborate with therapists and other staff to ensure coordinated care and outcomes.
