Job summary

Restore Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Full Time position at Athens Health & Rehab in Alabama, working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide therapy in a SNF setting. You will document patient progress, contribute to interdisciplinary care plans, use the computer system for records, and maintain confidentiality.

New graduates welcome for some locations; Alabama license, CPR certification, valid driver's license and insured

Qualifications

Graduate of a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
Must hold a valid and current license in the state employed
Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
Familiarity with general use and functions of the computer; including starting programs, using files, apps, and navigating screens.

Responsibilities

Provide therapy to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Participate as an interdisciplinary team member to determine potential patient needs, plans of care, and functional maintenance programs.
Accurately complete documentation of patient progress within designated time period.
Document clearly to show the medical necessity of the patient care to justify the plan of treatment.
Demonstrate the ability to utilize the computer system effectively, adhering to company policy.
