Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation center preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Monitor resident progress and report changes
• Document treatments and resident responses per guidelines
• Assist with gait, transfer, balance, and strengthening activities
• Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident goals
• Educate residents and families on therapy programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility policies
