Job summary

Focus Health Network, LLC is seeking a friendly Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join the team at Rochester Residence and Care Center in Rochester, PA. The PTA will support PT staff, implement treatment plans, and help residents achieve movement goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Pennsylvania.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
• Conduct occupational therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Evaluate patient progress and report results to the physical therapy team
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans
• Participate in meetings to discuss patient progress and develop strategies for improvement
• Provide patient education and training to promote independent living and community integration
