Job summary

Oil City Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help residents regain independence and achieve rehabilitation goals. You will collaborate with licensed physical therapists to implement personalized treatment plans and provide skilled therapy across orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular cases.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited PTA program and current PA licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Pennsylvania.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and implementation of interventions.
• Providing skilled therapy services to patients with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular conditions.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote patient progress and independence.
• Conducting patient educations on body mechanics, exercise techniques, and self-care activities.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
