Job summary

Soddy-Daisy Healthcare Center is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a PRN position in Tennessee. The PTA will provide patient-centered physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed PT, contribute to plan of care, and support an interdisciplinary team to improve residents’ strength and mobility.

Responsibilities include treatment implementation, supervision of rehab staff, accurate documentation, and collaboration with leadership to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
• Valid state PTA license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screenings and input for initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment for all assigned patients under the plan of care.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians when required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billing following guidelines.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with the team and staff.
• Contribute to integration of PT services into facility treatment plans.
