Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a dedicated Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Louisville team. You will provide patient-centered PT services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and coordinate care with the rest of the team.

Qualifications include an active PTA license, BLS certification, and ideally at least one year of PTA experience, with knowledge of neuro rehab techniques. Join a supportive, growing home health organization with flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PTA work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT services planned, delegated and supervised by the licensed Physical Therapist per patient plan of treatment.
• Communicates progress and needs with the Physical Therapist of record.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function and guides rehab program use of equipment.
• Maintains and submits treatment and billing documentation in required formats and timelines.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient's plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient's needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
