Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health PTA to join our team in Bayonne, NJ. The PTA will provide 1:1 home-based physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering patient-centered care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification, per state requirements.
• Minimum of one year of PTA work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injury is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the PT in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.
• Regularly confers with the PT regarding patient progress and plan of treatment.
• Communicates patient needs and progress to the PT and assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient1s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient1s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient1s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year1s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
