Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant for Sweetwater, TN. You will provide patient-centered, 1:1 PT services under the supervision of a PT in a home health setting.

The role offers a full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM) with benefits, mileage reimbursement, PTO and growth opportunities within a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• BLS/CPR certification current and in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s PTA experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT services planned, delegated and supervised by the PT according to the patient’s treatment plan.
• Regularly communicates patient progress and plan with the PT of record.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function and incorporates it into rehab.
• Maintains and submits treatment and billing documentation per regulations.

Education

Current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license (state-appropriate)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
