ARMStaffing is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant in Murphy, TX, to implement therapy plans and help patients reach long-term goals.

You will assist with posture training, strengthening, and functional skills, while training patients in orthotics and assistive devices. A 1+ year outpatient background and CAPTE certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• CAPTE Certified.
• 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals and plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist in therapeutic interventions including posture training, strengthening exercises, and functional skills training.
• Train patients in the use of orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices.
• Apply various modalities for patient treatment and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient progress and educate patients and families on body mechanics.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to sanitation protocols.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals regarding therapy administered.
• Participate in team conferences and special projects to improve patient care quality.
