Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant in Chattanooga, TN for a full-time role with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. The PTA will provide 1:1 patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in home health settings.

You will collaborate with the Physical Therapist on treatment plans, communicate patient progress, and ensure accurate documentation and billing. The position emphasizes independence with team support and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services planned and supervised by the PT in the patient’s plan of treatment.
• Consult with the PT on progress toward goals and plan adjustments.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the PT and assist in securing adaptive equipment.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
