Job summary

Adoration Home Health in De Queen, AR is seeking a compassionate Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide 1:1 patient care in a PRN capacity. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and support patient progress in home health settings.

The role emphasizes independent work with team support, focusing on patient-centered outcomes and flexible scheduling to maintain work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state where practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the licensed Physical Therapist.
• Communicate regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and plan of treatment.
• Assist in securing adaptive equipment to improve function and progress.
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Communicate regularly with the Physical Therapist regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concerns
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assist in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function. Incorporate the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state where practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance with state regulations
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
