Central Utah Rehabilitation Hospital in Provo, Utah seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to support inpatients on a per diem basis. You will assist under a supervising physical therapist, implementing treatment plans and performing therapy tasks while documenting patient responses.

Qualified candidates hold PTA licensure and CPR/BLS certification, with preference for hospital experience. Strong communication, confidentiality and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualificações

• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• One year of direct patient care in a hospital setting preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Competency in care per established standards.
• Appropriate application of age-specific standards and guidelines.
• General computer skills: data entry, word processing, email, record management.
• Leadership, organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally with others.
• Maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.

Responsabilidades

• Under the direction of a physical therapist, implement treatment plans with patients.
• Perform components of physical therapy procedures and related tasks as directed by supervising PT.
• Record patient responses to treatment and report outcomes to the physical therapist.
• Align daily practice with the hospital's mission and guiding principles.
