Job summary

Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in Kyle, TX seeks a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join a patient-centered clinic. You will work closely with licensed PTs to implement individualized treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic activities, and apply modalities as directed.

The role emphasizes patient outcomes and collaborative growth. Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s PTA degree with Texas licensure (or eligibility) and outpatient experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Texas state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Outpatient experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Apply modalities such as heat, cold, and ultrasound as directed.
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to the supervising PT.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Identify patients’ needs and respond with compassion, caring, and empathy to individual differences.
• Recommend options, courses of action, or modifications to selected treatments to support patient progress, safety, and comfort.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards
