Job summary

HEALTHCARE RECRUITMENT COUNSELORS in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our multidisciplinary practice. This role supports Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and rehab staff to help patients reduce pain, restore function, and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Active South Carolina PTA license.
• Outpatient orthopedic or chiropractic experience is a plus; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretching, balance, gait training, and functional activities.
• Administer modalities including e-stim, ultrasound, traction, heat, and cold therapy.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Document patient progress accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care.
