Magnolia Physical Therapy is a privately owned outpatient orthopedic clinic focused on evidence-based, patient-centered care. We are seeking a full-time or part-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team and assist patients with exercises, monitor progress, and help maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Current Texas PTA license is required.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Familiarity with WebPT ideal, not required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports rehabilitation preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities.
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and self-motivated professional.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Two or more years of experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients as they exercise or practice daily functional tasks by correcting form, motivating them, and ensuring their safety.
• Review and administer individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Maintain accurate records for all patients, their treatment, and their progress.
• Assist patients using support devices, such as a walker, cane, or wheelchair.
• Mentor and encourage patients going through major life changes, providing positive support, encouragement, and simple advice for their daily lives.
• Maintain all equipment, ensuring a clean, safe work environment.
