Job summary

Select Medical's Brandon, FL outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team. You will provide patient-centered PT services under the supervision of a licensed PT, serving patients of all ages and abilities, and helping them regain function and return to their activities.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients and caregivers.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and expand client relations.
