Performance Physical Therapy in Hockessin, DE seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a one‑on‑one, patient‑focused practice. You will work with licensed Physical Therapists to deliver evidence‑based care and tailor treatment plans for a diverse caseload.

Qualifications

• Active Delaware PTA license or eligible.
• Associate degree from CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Outpatient setting experience preferred.
• Interest in continued learning and clinical growth.
• Collaborative mindset and patient-first attitude.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with Medicare and third-party payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement treatment programs that reflect the therapist’s plan of care and goals.
• Instruct patients in safe and effective exercise and functional activities.
• Educate patients and families to support adherence and independence.
• Document care accurately, completely, and on time in Clinicient EMR.
