Northwest Transitions Inpatient Rehabilitation, part of Northwest Medical Center on the Oro Valley campus, seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support patient recovery and independence in a supportive environment.

This full-time day position offers competitive pay and full benefits, including up to $10,000 in student loan repayment, tuition assistance, and 401(k) with matching. Licenses (PTA) and BCLS required; 0–1 year experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Must hold PTA license in state of employment.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating treatment effectiveness.
• Implement interventions focusing on posture, balance, locomotion, strength and mobility.
• Administer treatments under supervision per current physical therapy practices.
• Monitor patient progress and report responses to the PT.
• Educate patients on exercises and self-management.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
